To determine results in the overall and league competition, teams are ranked from first to last by their accumulated 10 race scores. The team with the highest race accumulated score is first and the team with the lowest accumulated race score is last. To determine weekly results each Monday, the point totals from the previous weekend’s race are used.
Team and overall reports are updated weekly on the website by 5:00 PM CT each Monday and reflect results through the previous weekend's race.
Prizes are awarded at the end of the Contest to the top 25 overall teams as well as each week to the top 3 overall teams with the highest point totals for the weekend’s race. There is also a "Last One Standing" Prize as well.

TIES WILL BE BROKEN AFTER EACH RACE by comparing each owner's top ranked driver for the race just completed. Whichever 1st ranked driver scored more SPRINT Cup points is the winner, If the tie is still not broken, this process continues with the second top ranked driver and so forth down the team until the tie is broken. If the two tied winners have the exact same scores for all 5 of their drivers and have the drivers ranked exactly the same, then their total year-to-date accumulated race points will be used to break the tie. If they are still tied after this, then the prize money will be split.
TIES FOR OVERALL and LEAGUE CHALLENGE POSITIONS, while unlikely, will be resolved the same way that ties are broken after each race, using the final race roster results.
"Last One Standing" Prize - $1,000
Starting in week 1, and for every week during the Chase for the Fantasy Cup, if your top ranked driver (the one you selected as 1st) finishes in the top 10 for that week's race, you advance to the next week. In other words, as long as your 1st ranked driver finishes in the top 10 for the race, you advance to the next week and are in the running for the "Last One Standing" prize.
If in any week your top driver does not finish in the top 10 for the race, you will be "knocked down" and not be eligible for the 'Last One Standing" prize. Be the "Last One Standing" and win $1,000!
The "Last One Standing" prize is a separate prize and does not affect your eligibility for the Overall and Weekly prizes. To be eligible for the "Last One Standing" prize, you must play all 10 weeks of the Challenge starting week 1 on September 20th, 2009.
"Last One Standing Ties" (if all eligible teams are "knocked down" in the same week or there are more than 1 team standing at the end of the challenge) WILL BE BROKEN by comparing each owner's top ranked driver for the race just completed. Whichever 1st ranked driver scored more SPRINT Cup points is the winner, If the tie is still not broken, this process continues with the second top ranked driver and so forth down the team until the tie is broken. If the tied winners have the exact same scores for all 5 of their drivers and have the drivers ranked exactly the same, then their total year-to-date race points will be used to break the tie. If they are still tied after this, then the prize money will be split.
1,000 FanPoints will be awarded to the teams in the top scoring Clubhouse in the Clubhouse Challenge For complete rules and prize information for Clubhouses, click here.
Cash prizes are awarded in U.S. dollars.
