Overview

To enter SALARY CAP NASCAR (formerly named the VICTORY LANE CHALLENGE) via the Contest website, click the appropriate navigational link on the Contest website, agree to abide by the official rules governing the Contest, then follow the instructions to submit your entry, which includes selecting your team name and team. Entries must be submitted via the Internet by 11 AM CT on Sunday, February 15, 2009, in order to be eligible for all 26 weeks of the Contest. Upon successfully entering your team, you will receive via email your user ID and password to be used for modifying your team as well as accessing results and posting messages on the message boards.

Deadline

Your Internet entry must be submitted by 11 AM CT on Sunday, February 15, 2009, in order to accumulate points for all 26 race weeks of the Contest and no later than the green flag on Sunday, April 5, 2009. No faxed, mailed, electronically mailed, or phone entries are allowed.

You may still enter the Contest after February 15, 2009, and until the green flag Sunday, April 5, 2009. To be eligible for the upcoming weekend's race, your entry must be submitted no later than the green flag for the weekend's race. Late entries will receive 0 points for the weeks of races prior to the time of entry.

The Contest begins with the race on Sunday, February 15, 2009, and ends with the race on Saturday, September 12, 2009, spanning 26 weeks of races. There are no races the weekends of March 14-15, April 11-12, May 16-17, July 18-19, and August 29-30.

Costs

FREE to enter!! There is a limit of three teams per customer. In the event of additional teams, only the last three teams received will be eligible.

One FREE driver switch each race week. Additional driver switches and purchases are 50¢ each. Driver switches are unlimited during the Contest. There is a limit of 10 driver purchases during the Contest. Driver changes must be bought in increments of 10 changes and can be used for either switches or purchases.

SAVE MONEY! Buy all driver changes (10 purchases and unlimited switches) for $25! Discount package of changes must be bought no later than the green flag on Sunday, February 22, and assigned to one team. All purchased changes must be paid by credit card, using MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover, and are non-refundable and non-transferable.

There will be a $2.00 surcharge per team each time changes are made via phone, fax, mail, e-mail, or voice mail rather than via the Internet. Our toll line is 314-991-1511. Our fax number is 314-991-1564. All fees are payable in U.S. funds.

SELECT TEAM

Overview

During signup, you select from the listed drivers a starting team of 8 drivers within the constraints of a $10,000,000 salary cap as well as a garage of 7 drivers. These drivers remain on your team until you decide to modify your team.

Garage

Your garage must consist of any 7 drivers. The salary cap does not apply to your garage but does apply when these drivers are switched onto the starting team.

Salary Cap and Driver Salaries

The $10,000,000 salary cap as well as the driver salaries are assigned by Fanball and do not change during the Contest. For driver salaries, click here.

Locking of Driver Selections

For teams entered by 11 AM CT on Sunday, February 15, 2009, your initial team roster of 8 starting drivers and 7 garage drivers is locked at the green flag for the Dayonta 500 on Sunday, February 15, 2009. After this time, your team only may be modified according to the roster change limitations. The roster change limitations are:

  • One (1) FREE driver switch is available each race week
  • Ten (10) 50¢ driver purchases may be used at any time
  • Unlimited 50¢ driver switches may be used at any time

For entries submitted after February 15, 2009, and by the green flag on Sunday, April 5, 2009, your initial team roster of 8 starting drivers and 7 garage drivers is locked in at the time of entry and only may be modified according to the roster change limitations described above.

Listed Drivers

You can select listed drivers at any time before or during the Contest. Listed drivers can be selected for your starting team and garage effective immediately upon submitting your entry.

Unlisted Drivers

Unlisted drivers may not be selected.
