Overview

To enter the FANTASY CUP SHOOTOUT CHALLENGE via the Contest website, click the appropriate navigational link on the Contest website, agree to abide by the official rules governing the Contest, then follow the instructions to submit your entry, which includes selecting your team name and team. Upon successfully entering your team, you will receive via email your username and password to be used for modifying your team, viewing results and accessing the message boards and chat features. There is a limit of two teams per customer.

Deadline

Your Internet entry must be received by the dropping of the green flag for the shootout race on Saturday, February 7, 2009.

The Fantasy Cup Shootout One Race Challenge is based on the results from the Budweiser Shootout on Saturday, February 7, 2009.

Costs

Entry for the Fantasy Cup Shootout One Race Challenge is FREE with no additional charges or hidden cost. There is a limit of two teams per customer.

SELECT TEAM

Overview

During signup, you select a team of 8 drivers within the constraints of a $10,000,000 salary cap.

Driver Selection

You can select listed or unlisted drivers for your team. The salary for any unlisted driver is $500,000.

Salary Cap and Driver Salaries

A $10,000,000 salary cap is used to select your team of 8 drivers. For the current list of driver salaries, click here.

Tie Breaker Driver Selection

In addition to the 8 driver selections for your team, you will be prompted to select 5 tiebreaker drivers and your guess at the race’s average speed of the shootout winner. You must select 5 unique drivers for your tiebreaker drivers. Your tiebreaker drivers, however, can be the same as or different from the 8 drivers on your team. The 5 tiebreaker drivers and average race speed guess will be used to break the ties for overall and league prizes.
